A collection of frequently asked questions related to the permissions needed or requested by the app.

For what does the app use storage permission?

We use storage permission to store the following items on your devices:

1. Your watch faces
2. Your watch elements
3. Your widgets
4. A list of your favourite fonts

We store these files in a public folder on your devices (as opposed to the default app folder), to make sure that your designs and preferences remain on your device after uninstalling the app or after clearing the data of the app.

This makes sure that you won't loose the work you have done with the app!

For what does the app use access to my location?

We use access to your location in order to be able to display the weather conditions at your location on your watch face.

If you want you can also set you location manually. You can do this from the settings page in the phone app:

1. Open the navigation drawer (by swiping from the left, or pressing the hamburger menu in the top left)
2. Tap Settings
3. Scroll to Weather
4. Scroll down to Location method
5. Enter your location (and pick a location from the supplied suggestions)

Your location is only used to display the weather conditions. We do not collect or store location data outside of your device.

For what does the app use access to my calendar?

We use access to your calendar in order to be able to display your calendar events on your watch face.

Your calendar data is only used to display your events on your watch face. We do not collect or store your calendar data outside of your device.
